People come to the insolvency sector from finance, banking, audit and often from other walks of life where the language and vocabulary of insolvency and restructuring means little.
Starting a career in our sector can be challenging. Acronyms, terms, phrases and words are thrown around. A recruit is expected to understand key parts of insolvency law even though much of what is being said often sounds like a different language.
The Aryza Introduction To Insolvency Qualification is designed to relieve the stress of starting or continuing a career in an insolvency practice with practical, useful and foundation-building learning. From knowledge comes competence and confidence. From technical information delivered in a well-explained, dynamic, useful, pragmatic and practical way comes understanding.
ITIQ has been carefully designed by Insolvency Practitioners to be delivered over 25 webcasts. All processes and procedures; from CVAs, CVLs and Compulsory Liquidations to Restructuring Plans, Moratoria and Pre-Packs a practical approach is taken to explain the technical and the highly useful.
There are webcasts on Ethics, Statements of Affairs, Remuneration, Voidable Transactions, Paying Dividends and many more, each delivered with materials and supported by tests ad exercises.
There is also a 50 question multiple-choice question test at the end of 25 webcasts to check knowledge and deliver the highly rated ‘ITIQ’; the qualification.
ITIQ also includes our AML Training Course, designed for Insolvency Professionals.

ITIQ+
Introduction To Insolvency+ is our premium introductory programme for those joining the insolvency and restructuring sector.
In addition to our classic ITIQ programme, a subscriber will receive six Live Monthly Webinars to help focus on some the most difficult topics covered in the programme. They will also get access to three of our ‘Becoming a Professional’ webcasts, for those new to a profession who are considering their approach and their personal ‘brand’ via communication, image, actions and non-verbal skills. ITIQ
This course and qualification are available for just £539 (ex VAT).
This includes all 25 webcasts, with materials, tests, exercises and an AML course, both with an exam at the end of the course. It also includes access to The Compendium. A glossary of every term, phrase and acronym along with their definitions used in insolvency and restructuring. If you do not require AML training, the total price is £499 ex VAT.
ITIQ+
This course and qualification are available for just £699 (ex VAT).
ITIQ is a unique opportunity for all new recruits to insolvency and restructuring to learn about the essential technical and practical elements of their chosen profession.
FAQs
For ITIQ and ITIQ+ we do not currently offer any face-to-face days. We do however offer bespoke training where we will cover the subjects in ITIQ/ITIQ+, if needed.
Whilst we can’t speak for employers, we can say that this will give you a thorough understanding of all of the core fundamentals of insolvency and restructuring.
It is the perfect way to build your vocabulary and a thorough understanding of working in practice.
As these are on a 6 month rotational basis, if you miss one of the ITIQ+ Breakfast Webinars, you can simply catch up when it rolls around again, no need to worry!
We also have a number of student question and answer sessions that we have recorded and made available on the app. You can hear the questions typically arising from studying the syllabus and a tutor’s answers of them.
