Aryza Control

Product Snapshot: Aryza Control

Managing debt collection efficiently requires transparency and the right insights. Aryza Control helps businesses gain a clear overview of their collection processes and performance. In this interview, Johan Van Wageningen shares how it works.

What is Aryza Control’s core function?

Johan: Aryza Control makes the performance of different debt collection agencies (DCAs) comparable. It standardises the data from the DCAs a company works with and presents them in a single point of reporting via a dashboard. Every definition is the same, ensuring full transparency. For example, using a Champion-Challenger model, businesses can identify which collection agency is performing best. This means that DCAs must be 100% transparent.

How is Aryza Control used?

Johan: One option is to use Control as a standalone solution. In this case, no personal data, such as debtor addresses, is involved—only case numbers and invoice numbers are stored. We simply collect data from the collection agency and display it in our dashboard. If customers use our distribution module, the process is slightly different: the customer transfers their claims to Aryza Control, which then distributes them to participating DCAs based on a predefined allocation key. All data can also be fed back into the customer’s ERP system via API or XML files. Another use case is using Control exclusively as a reporting platform, for example, when a company works with only one collection agency.

What data is compared?

Johan: Typical KPIs include collection rate (gross/net), payer rate, cases in arrears, cases in standstill, payment arrangements, collection cost rate (amicable/judicial), and asset seizure.

Which industries is Aryza Control particularly suitable for?

Johan: I wouldn’t want to limit it too much, but utilities, finance and telecommunications companies with a large volume of B2C claims are a particularly strong use case. In the Netherlands, even some DCAs themselves use Control to distribute their claims among different bailiffs.

Aryza Control has been on the market in the Netherlands for many years.

Johan: That’s right—almost the entire Dutch DCA market participates, with nearly 40 DCAs using it. However, we are now also active in DACH, the UK, Canada, and Australia.

Aryza Control has been redesigned. What’s new?

Johan: The software now runs on Microsoft Azure, allowing server deployment in different countries, which is a significant advantage for data protection. The reporting functionality with embedded Power BI now enables a seamless integration of interactive dashboards into existing applications or platforms. Users gain real-time access to key metrics without needing to switch between systems. Additionally, automated updates, customisable filters, and intuitive data visualisation simplify analysis and decision-making.
